Privacy Policy
Effective 18 August 2026 · applies to the Boltfall iOS app
Boltfall is a puzzle game by Asgar Amrahov. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no social features. Your game progress is stored only on your device. This policy explains the little data that does leave your device, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Gameplay analytics — anonymous events such as “level 12 won in 90 seconds” or “tutorial step shown”, sent through Google Analytics for Firebase. They contain level numbers, counts, durations and booleans — never your name, email, contacts, location or anything you type. We use them for one purpose: finding levels that are too hard or too easy and fixing them.
- Advertising data — Boltfall shows ads through Google AdMob. Ads only ever play when you choose to watch one for a bonus, plus an occasional interstitial after a level. To show and measure ads, Google may process device information (such as IP address, device model, and — only if you allow tracking — the advertising identifier). See how Google uses data from apps.
- Purchase state — purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app only stores which non-consumable products you own so it can honour them.
What we never collect
No names, no emails, no contacts, no photos, no location, no microphone, no free-text input. Boltfall works fully offline; nothing above is required to play.
Consent in the EEA and UK
If you are in a region that requires consent, Boltfall shows Google's consent form before any ad-related data is used, and analytics stays switched off until consent is resolved. You can decline: you'll see non-personalised ads and the game works exactly the same. You can change your choice any time via the consent form shown in-app.
App Tracking Transparency
Boltfall never asks about tracking on first launch. If you later choose to watch a rewarded ad, iOS shows Apple's tracking prompt once. Allowing makes rewarded ads more relevant; declining changes nothing about the game — same ads, same rewards, less relevance.
Deleting your data
- On-device data — Settings → Data → “Delete local data” wipes all progress, coins and settings instantly and permanently.
- Analytics — events are anonymous and auto-expire on Google's servers (14 months). To request deletion tied to your device's app instance, email us and we will action it through Firebase's deletion API.
- Ad identifier — reset or revoke any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
Children
Boltfall is rated 4+ but is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where age signals apply, Google serves non-personalised ads.
Third parties we use
